Project implementation

Celias company investment in the circular economy through introducing resource efficiency into the production cycle.

Co-financed by the European Union - NextGenerationEU

Implementation of the project "Celias company investment in the circular economy through introducing resource efficiency into the production cycle" (project code: NPOO.C1.1.1.R4 I1.02.0191).

The project is carried out under the Call for grant applications "Support for enterprises transitioning to an energy and resource efficient economy for 2024", with the Ministry of Economy as the responsible implementing body.

The project's goal is to adapt the company's operations to future environmental requirements within the European Union through investment in the green transition, increased energy efficiency and sustainable production. The project includes the construction of a new production facility designed as a nearly zero-energy building (nZEB), the installation of a photovoltaic power plant, heat pumps and a ventilation system with heat recovery, as well as the procurement of modern equipment for producing and packaging wood mulch.

By introducing advanced technological and energy solutions, the project will significantly contribute to reducing negative environmental impacts, lowering greenhouse gas emissions and increasing the company's energy independence. At the same time, the project has a positive effect on the local community by creating new jobs in a rural area and improving the use of neglected and unmaintained agricultural land.
