Biomass
production

Mechanical clearing of overgrown fields and pastures - from land assessment to wood mass ready for chipping.

Five stages in the field

01

Site assessment

Agreement on land left neglected over a long period, inspection of the area, and estimation of the time needed for the work.

Raw wood material prepared for processing
02

Clearing

Mechanical clearing of overgrown land - trees and vegetation are cut and cleared, and the biomass is prepared for extraction to the stockpile.

03

Excavator clearing

An excavator with a suitable attachment removes stumps and roots and levels the surface for further processing.

Clearing and loading of wood mass with a forwarder
04

Extraction

The felled mass is extracted to stockpiles at the edge of the plot, where it's stacked and prepared for chipping.

Extraction of felled wood mass by trailer to the stockpile
05

Result

A cleared, usable agricultural area and raw material ready for energy use.

Cleared agricultural land, the result of clearing work

A relatively low-cost way to decarbonize electricity production that also contributes significantly to a clean, well-kept environment.
