Celias d.o.o.'s core business is biomass and wood chip production. Over the past six years we've steadily grown and upgraded our operations, achieving the results that define us today.
We hold the SURE certificate, proving sustainable biomass production from overgrown agricultural land - a relatively low-cost way to decarbonise electricity production that also contributes significantly to a clean, well-kept environment.
Four phases, our own machinery and fleet - no middlemen between the field and the customer.
The production process runs in several phases. It begins with an agreement on land that has become overgrown after a long period of neglect. The terrain is inspected and the time required for the work is estimated.
Mechanical clearing of overgrown land. Trees and vegetation are cut and cleared, and the biomass is prepared for extraction to the stockpile.
The prepared wood mass is then chipped on site with our own machinery, directly into semi-trailers for bulk transport of wood chips.
The wood chips produced are transported by truck to end customers - cogeneration plants that generate electricity and district heating plants that heat residential areas.
